Persuasive Speech of Covid-19 Vaccination

Good day ladies and gentlemen,

I hope you are staying safe and healthy.

Todays I am going to talk about covid-19 vaccination and why you should take it.

Firstly, I would like to give you a little insight about Covid-19. Covid-19 is a contagious
disease among human caused by coronavirus. The first case was found in Wuhan, China in
December 2019. And spread worldwide during March 2020. The most common way it is been
transmitted is though air and touch.

According to Ministry of Health Malaysia only 83% of citizen who are eligible for
vaccination are being vaccinated till 5 June 2022. So where is the rest 17%? It seems like a
small part but actually it is a huge amount guys, no joke. In Malaysia, our government has
provided 4 types of Covid-19 Vaccine Brand for free which are Pfizer, Sinovac, Astra Zenneca,
and Cansino. And it is free guys and I would like to remind that it is free. And why do some
people are still reluctant and afraid of being vaccinated? Or are you afraid of side effect or
death cause by vaccination? Oh no guys, it just a rumor. In facts you are putting yourself in
more dangerous if you are unvaccinated. In Terengganu, during November 2021 77.5% from
total death 768 cause by Covid-19 is those who are unvaccinated.

Moreover, Covid-19 may bring a long- term effect to you and more worst when you get
the long lasting effect that affect you hall life health. According to Dr Fidaa Shaib , a pulmonary
expert at Baylor College of Medicine said that some of the long term effect of Covid-19 is
shortness of breath, a lingering cough, chest pain, heart palpitations, dizziness, insomnia and
anxiety. However, people who are suffer from a nasty covid-19 are tend to have a long lasting
effect like lung problem and heart problem because the virus may damage the function of it
and kidney problem as well because of the hight consumption of medication during the period.
Moreover, health complications of Covid-19 may cause to death. Scary right? So, the only
solution for all these problem is Covid-19 Vaccination.

Covid-19 vaccines contain ingredients that help your immune system make antibodies
which is proteins that fight off infection and disease cause by corona virus. If you get the
vaccination and then come into contact with corona virus, your immune system will recognise
it and be able to protect you by producing the right antibodies. So, you may not been infected
or if been infected you will not get serious illness.

Moreover, it is important to get the right dose of vaccine to make sure it can work
affectively and long lasting to protect you. Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination offers good
protection within 3 to 4 weeks of the first dose so getting second dose and booster is necessary
to make sure it has a strong and long lasting effect to fight the virus.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I would like to repeat and remind that Covid-19 Vaccination is very important. It help
to prevent you from being infected and prevent you from getting serious illness if being infected.
As I mention just now once you are being infected the side effect will bring a health burden to
your hall life. You are still young and you have a lot of dream that have not been achieve so
please do care for your health by taking the vaccine and taking the right dose.

Moreover, being vaccinated is a big contribution to the country because you are on the
road to stop this pandemic. This pandemic has cause many people losing job, losing family
members, our frontliners are frustration and kids are losing the most important learning proses
at school. We don’t want to feel this again and we don’t want to see it happening again. The
only way to solve all these problems is by taking Covid-19 Vaccine.

Lastly, have you been vaccinated? if not please do so as soon as possible and if yes
