Today in 21st century humankind's live has changed, it has changed as if the new generation that has

come now has nothing in common with old one. Every people are trying to overcome all the difficulties
that our parents grand parents encountered in the past. Well this is the main characteristic of the digital
age !

As a citizen of this new generation I'm enjoying the benefits and advantages of this digital age. In the
past hundred years before the internet's revolution the evolution of humanity was slowed down by a lot
of problems like: long rage communication, we couldn't communicate with people around the world
easily so we were stuck in the same place in many sectors.

But today in this digital age we can communicate with people all around the world as if we were
greeting our neighbors. Thanks to this I can be in Ukraine but still in touch with my friends and family
who are who are far from me ! Even if We are not physically in the same place but we still see each
others and joke as usual. We even share some important moments of our lives. A week ago my uncle
proposed to his wife and three days ago they were celebrating their marriage, I attended the ceremony
thanks to the "Instagram live", that's the magic of internet.

When I remember in the history a lot of historical documents, even some library has been burned or lost
for some others, some important information that might be useful for humanity but can't be recovered
again. Today we have the cloud backup thanks to the world data management we are able to save up
"70%" of the world's history and knowledge. I myself like reading and I particularly like reading "e-
books" because they are portable easily accessible and I can even read in the dark.

Living in this digital age is sure easier and full of opportunities compared to the old days, it's now
possible to attended classes online and even working online is possible. We can graduate from "MIT" or
"Harvard" without even being in America, we can be in France and working for a multinational company
based in China.

But the truth is talking about living in a digital age is always a good and happy life will be wrong. Yes this
digital age brought his own bunch of problems, starting with online security, cybercrime is the main
problem of this age. Nobody is exempted of this matter. Your personals informations may be stolen if
you're not aware. Just like the evolution of technologies cybercrime is evolving also. In the computer
field it's said: Nothing is perfect. Which means even the most powerful firewall is doom to be break one
day, zero risk doesn't exist on internet.

In the field of work, even with all of this progress we still have a high unemployment rate and this is not
going to end tomorrow, in fact the most we are progressing the higher the rate is. Because many
companies are opting for fully robotic factories or relocating to other countries.

In conclusion living in a digital age is full of advantages and really interesting in many ways but still it's
not a calm and peaceful life, it sure has many disadvantages and we need to be aware of that. Just like it
says : the more beautiful the medal, the heavier the reverse.
