Parking Brake and Actuation

Parking brake is a drum system installed on
flange of the rear axle and shares a system with
the rear brake. Parking brake is controlled by
parking brake handle installed on the console.
Parking brake system starts when the parking
brake handle is switched on. Parking brake force
is exerted on the brake cables on both sides
through the central adjustment rod, and then
transferred to the respective rear brake.
If the parking brake is not fully released, the
parking brake switch will light up the brake
indicator lamp.
The parking brake switch is installed on the
parking brake control.
Parking Brake Indicator Lamp
● It is located in the Speedgear.
● It is lighted up to inform driver of the status of
exerted parking brake or of low-level brake fluid.
