Task 1

1. I will explore visual arts because I want to be a painter. The visual arts in
compass and extensive range of visual modes that children utilize for expressing,
communicating, mediating their thinking, engaging in aesthetic exploration and
research. There are many reason why I want to explore visual arts. I want to
have the kind of opportunities for self- exploration and self-expression, the
chance to broaden horizons, to build my mental focus, physical dexterity, reduce
stress, and increase personal enjoyment.
2. I will explore visual arts because I want to be a painter. The visual arts in

research. There are many reason why I want to explore visual arts. I want to
have the kind of opportunities for self- exploration and self-expression, the

3. Arts is a broad term that has a scope in many forms, in visual or in performance.
As far as we know already, it is also the way to convey things that can’t be
described with words only. It can be to express yourself and to others exceeding
generalized aspects.
Firstly, artist utilized to express our relation to the environment, how? By bringing
the past, the environment has a big influence on what humans do. From the
paintings that defect primitive life with animals and nature, to influence of nature
on a certain artworks by modern artists nowadays. This also includes how people
also warship nature or even celebrate festivals with art to show thanksgiving for a
bountiful harvest. Songs can also be used such as “Anak ng Pasig” by Geneva
Cruz, where it shows how humans destruct the environment to wrongdoings.
Secondly, we can also use art to express our relation to others and our
community. It is already seen easily here in the Philippines. We are divided into
different groups with different languages and various cultures but the common
denominator is art. We celebrate many festivals in every place so we have our
trademarks. The use of musical instruments, costumes, paintings, dances, and
many more was used to tell a story or one’s past. Language also plays a big part,
specially in literature.
Lastly, the most common one, the use of art to express our selves. From what
you perceive to what you feel inside, you can communicate your thoughts to the
world. Using the flow and strokes of one’s hand to the steeping of one’s foot a
message is shown. I believe in my saying “A great masterpiece has a great story
behind it.” Any form of art can be used, with no limitations. Many songs were
made from heartbreaks, many paintings were created from dreams, may dances
were choreographed from unspoken words, and many writings were written from
unexperienced experiences.
