Sirgy and Lee (2018) categorized the definitions of WLB in
two key dimensions. Within the dimension of engagement in
multiple roles in work and nonwork-life, WLB can be defined
as “the allocation of time and psychological energy in a
balanced way in work and nonwork-life while deriving much
satisfaction from both work and non-worklife The second
identified dimension of WLB is minimal conflict between
work and nonwork roles; Sirgy and Lee (2018) reported the
following definition: “work-life balance is satisfaction and
good functioning in work and family roles with minimum role
