Lesson: Getting started – Computers and Our Lives.
I. Objective:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 Practice listening and reading for general ideas and specific
information about the advantages of computer and how it affects
our lives.
 Learn some vocabulary related to the topic computer and its
influences on our lives.
 Practice discussing and presenting their group’s outlooks related to
the topic of the lesson.
II. Methodology:
 Communicative approach (using game, pairs work, group work to
organize activities.)
III. Anticipated problem:
 Teacher may find some difficulties in explicit new words or
phrases to students.
 Students lack of lexical resources related to the topic.
 Some students may be afraid of sharing their ideas in front of the
whole class.
IV. Teaching aids: Textbook English 10, board, chalks, laptop, projector…
