Micro-Project Report (It will be 7-8 Pages)

Title of Micro-Project: build a circuit for battery charger for charging battery of 6v

1.0 Rationale: If you have a 6V battery in your vehicle or device, it is always best to use a matching 6 volt
charger to keep it topped off. It is important for users to know when they have a 6 volt battery on their hands
so that they can find an appropriate 6 volt charger that will suit their needs. Using the wrong charger could
damage your battery or create a dangerous situation

2.0. Aims /Benefits of the Micro Project:-

Build a battery charger for charging a 6v rechargeable battery.

3.0 Course Outcomes Achieved:-

a) Use Phase controlled rectifiers in different applications.

4.0 Literature Review:-

Battery charger is device which consists of electrodes and electrolyte for the storage of chemical energy, but
brings about a reaction between its electrodes and the electrolyte in a way to cause the flow of electrons
through an external circuit is known as a battery.Battery charger is an acid battery charger that is designed
to charge 6V acid battery. It is basically a DC power supply source.

5.0. Actual Methodology followed:-

a. First we collected the information about battery charger.
b. Then we find out which components are useful to us in this project.
c. Analyze the information and select important points relevant to the subject.
d. Then we prepare the report and Power point presentation.

6.0 Actual Resource Used.
