Executive summary:

Shruja Fabric Jewellery will be a partnership business between two friends namely
Shrutika and myself Jayanti which we have put together and named our business as
“Shruja”. This is and existing business idea which we came to know through
Instagram where there are many more such business taking place, but we found out
that there is no such business in our area or any one selling such products near us
so we took it as an opportunity and thought of “why not we do it” and we finally
came up with a business plan to make it happen.

Fabric Jewellery is handcrafted jewellery. Jewellery items like earrings, neck

pieces, etc is created using Fabric. Various apparel shops have plenty of wasted
cloth peaces which will be recycled into beautiful jewellery items. Cloth pieces
like “Kath” of any saree or a wasted peace from a dress material can be used to
make a beautiful earring or a neck piece which because is made out of fabric goes
with any and every outfit.
2.0 MARKET STUDY

The Fabric jewellery is now very known and in fashion in now a days. As it goes
with any and every outfit it is easy to attract customers. Customers are willing to
pay for these products as they are very trendy, colorful, and in fashion, it can make
a simple outfit look beautiful and complete with this fabric jewellery. Online
marketing helps to grow and reach customers and exhibitions and store will help
reach them traditionally.

2.1 DEMAND SUPPLY PORTION:

As India has a lot of festivals it is easy to sell jewellery products and attract
customers. Woman in India love wearing jewellery and they love making
collection of it each festival. Apart from that fabric jewellery can also go with
indo-western outfits, now days working women also wear a neck peace or earring
to make their formal outfits complete, chic, and classy. Keeping in mind the online
and offline mode and the expected reach the demand for Fabric jewellery items
will be around 10 items per day and the supply for the same will be 15 pieces per
day the gap between demand and supply will be 5 pieces which will be covered the
next day.
2.2 COMPETITORS:

We will be serving in the local market so the competition is not an issue in the
initial stage of the business the design of the product is what all that will be the
main focus which will make our products unique and different form others as far as
now we have seen no one selling the same products in the near by stores or in any
exhibition nearby. Whereas on online market has a lot of competition, there are
many established business taking place there but it seems to be expensive not trust
worthy. So we first are going to gain the trust in the offline market and take all the
customers experiences to online market to gain trust and sell easily. Again the
design is what will make us different from others and gain competitive advantage.

2.3 PRICE STRUCTURE OF THE PRODUCTS:

Earrings – Rs 150 per piece

Neck lace- Rs 150 per piece

Jewellery set- 300 per set

2.4 PRESENT PRICING STRATEGY
For this new concept to be accepted and to work we are going to use many
strategies. We are going to use customer loyalty discount strategy. This strategy
builds loyalty and repeat business by offering customers something for free like
goodies, gifts or a discount. For example, we may decide to charge a discount on
the product to customers who are the first time customer. We are offering
discounts, or a free earring, to the first 10 customers, so that all of them will
become loyal customers. We will also offer discounts to them who will bring one
customer along with them or buy 5 items get one set of earring free
