Guidelines for the Home Building Process for Householders

This guide will help ease the stress of first-time homeowners through the construction
process.

Paperwork

During this phase, contractors will conduct bidding for the work. Remember to hire a lawyer
to review all of your contracts. Once the construction documents are completed, the
construction phase begins.

Main building component

You'll be nervous when the contractor breaks ground on your new home. Digging the
foundation will be the first step in building your home. Next, the contractor will level the site
to create the foundation. After the background is poured, the framing process will begin.

Installation and finishing

As the walls rise, the installation begins. Contractors will install plumbing, wiring, and other
fixtures. They will finish the walls, floors, and ceilings.

Construction inspection

The appraiser will check to make sure the home is up to standard. Once the assessment is
complete, you can tour your home. Congratulations! Your new home is now ready for you to
move into!

DEVELOPMENT HUE CITY A HERITAGE CITY

On April 27, 2021, the National Assembly Standing Committee voted to pass a resolution on
adjusting the boundary to expand Hue City and rearrange the city's wards. The Minister of
Home Affairs said: "Hue City currently has a small area compared to the urban development
rate. The high population density of the whole city (7,222 people/km2) has overloaded the
social infrastructure in the central area. Technical infrastructure has not yet met the needs of
urban development, while some urban criteria exceed the prescribed standards."

The Government affirmed that the expansion of Hue city is a step to concretize the
construction planning project of Thua Thien Hue province and the project to adjust the
general planning of Hue city to 2030, with a vision to 2050. Accordingly, Hue City will be
divided into specific areas.

The nature reserve consists of 4 inner city wards that will be the centers of tourism,
commerce, and service. According to the urban planning project, this area preserves and
improves the road system, restores the drainage system and sidewalks, and embellishes the
landscape and cultural heritage. The city will also expand traditional cultural spaces such as
garden houses, ruong houses, or green spaces along the banks of the Huong River.

The administrative area includes Xuan Phu, Phu Hoi, Phu Nhuan, and Vinh Ninh wards,
which is the administrative center with the headquarters of agencies and departments. This
area will be renovated, with upgraded urban infrastructure and embellished with the French
architectural quarter.

In addition, other specific areas include the new urban area in the southeast, the filling area in
the north and southwest, and the redevelopment area in the northeast of the city.
