    ANNEXURE-2

    IA G8 Glider-8

    Designed to enable user to move easily


    and safely along a lifeline. A cleat locks the
    shuttle onto the cable preventing it from
    releasing accidentally. Easy to install (with one
    IA G8 GLIDER-8 hand) the shuttle can be connected and
    disconnected anywhere along the line.
    The Glider is made of stainless steel ZBCND
    17/04 providing it with strength of 104 N/mm2.

    IA Energy Absorber

    The energy absorber is designed to dissipate


    the energy generated and reduce the forces at
    the ends. Some installations do not require
    an absorber. The absorbing element is a
    IA Energy Absorber IA SA-01 disposal device which must be replaced after
    each fall.

    IA End Swage welded

    assembly of the cable (diam. 8 mm).

    IA Anchor Ring

    The anchor rings (IA AR-10) are designed


    for mounting on wall, ceiling, floor or between
    2 walls. They guarantee optimum overall

    attachment for tensioners, absorbers and
    pretension indicators.

    energy absorbing system PAS (Progressive
    Absorbing System) which takes up part of the
    generated forces in the event of a fall.
