DEVELOPMENT OF THE ACTIVITY

1. How has technology impacted your life? Positively? Negatively?

I consider that technology has impacted my life in a positive way. Thanks to

her I can study, I organize my time better and I can talk with my family from
a distance.
It hasn't had a negative impact since I don't like to watch entertainment
programs. I believe that we must learn to use technology for human
development.

2. I How is technology affecting physical development in humans?

I think the main problem is the misuse of technology and the poor
distribution of free time, given that when we have free time we spend
watching social networks, sleeping excessively, playing video games.
This leads to the neck making an additional effort to support the head due to
the posture we use when we use technological devices. Additionally, the
sedentary lifestyle we have, we put aside walking, going out dancing,
spending time with the family.

3. Do you consider technology might affect the development of essential

skills in children?

I believe that if, the brain development of children is affected, additionally

there may be sleep disturbances, delayed motor development, among other
essential skills. Also, it can have physical implications such as carpal tunnel
syndrome.
The use of technology must be supervised by an adult and in addition to
that, teach them its proper use.

4. How can technology be used to reduce hunger and food scarcity in the

world?

Currently, the eLocust3 application is used in the most arid areas of Africa
and thus detects pests or diseases, weather patterns, facilitating food
production and reducing the risks of agriculture. I believe that, in a few
years, this software will be improved and will be even more important, since
it will facilitate the improvement of production methods, optimization of
resources, among others.

5. How does technology make our lives easier?

Technology facilitates communication, quick access to information,

simplifies domestic tasks, improvements in transportation (less travel time
from one place to another), greater efficiency in industries, among others.

6. How can technology help improve your quality of life?

Technology allows us to communicate immediately with others, facilitates

physical activity, psychological well-being, encourages creativity and the
exercise of the mind. For example, smart watches show us heart rate, heart
rate, among others.

7. Is technology affecting the way humans interact with the world?

I think so, since the covid pandemic, we began to have virtual work, we had
social interaction, but in a different way, purchases began to be made more
frequently online, which in turn affected the economy of the service.
transportation and increased demand for internet service.

I believe that we are becoming more and more dependent on technology

and at the same time it can be a great opportunity to share more time with
the family.

8. What can you conclude about the topic?

Technology is of the utmost importance for the development of humanity, however,

it must be used correctly.

9. What strategies or solutions could you apply to avoid the negative

impact of technology?

I have always considered that education is the best weapon for most of our
problems, we must teach how to use technology properly both in schools,
schools and at home.

10. What do you expect about the future of technology?

In the next decade I expect improvements in prosthetics, in renewable

energies, improvements in augmented reality and artificial intelligence.

11. Do you imagine a world without technology? How would it be?

Of course, my childhood was without technology and I consider it to be an

excellent childhood. We talked at the table, we played board games, we
went out to the park. However, caring for the animals was more difficult, my
mother had to get up earlier since she was late with the cows, which is no
longer the case today.
12. After you have checked out the resources in the guide, how do you imagine
life in the year 2050?

I imagine myself in the year 2050, growing my own food, buying bread in a
woven basket and waiting for lab-made meat to come out.
