Trip to Pachmarhi, Bhopal, Bhimbaetka, Sanchi Tour Programme:

Club Dharohar is thrilled to announce a trip to the centre of India- Madhya Pradesh. It has been
long since our students took a tour with their friends. The past two years were depressing but
not anymore. We are sanguine to receive a good response for the trip to Panchmarhi, Bhopal,
Bhimbetka, and Sachi at the throw away cost which includes train tickets and stay.

How informative it would be if our students can get a chance to experience the history! No time
machine can take you back to 10,000 year old era but a tour can teach you a lot about the
culture and tradition of that place through experiential learning. These tours are necessary to
tantalize our senses, to help us peep into our past. Knowing about history, heritage and culture
gives us a sense of unity and brotherhood. It also humbles us.

For the ones who have to face competitive exams asking questions on general knowledge, this
trip will further their learning by adding empirical knowledge about Indian science, history, and
tradition. Therefore, the trip is relevant for anyone who wants to enhance knowledge and boost
confidence.

We keep our nose buried in the books and sometimes miss the beauty around us. These tours
help us resurrect the past. You may not etch everything in your mind but you will certainly
explore something new.

The details and itinerary of the trip are:

PACHMARHI/BHOPAL / BHIMBAETKA/SANCHI TOUR PROGRAMME:

Day 01 We assemble at school at 0900 hrs. to board coach for Delhi. We arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin
Railway station to board train NDLS JBP SUP Express at 1400 hrs. for Pipariya overnight in the train.

Day 02 Arrive at Pipariya Railway station at 0405 hrs. Transfer to Pachmarhi by sumo or Qualis. Check
into the hotel. After the breakfast morning at leisure till lunch time for relaxation. After lunch we trek to
Jata Shankar (The source of Jambu Dweep). Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 After breakfast a day of sightseeing in and around Pachmarhi. We visit Bison Museum and
Pandav Caves. Then we trek through safe forest area to Bee fall & enjoy splashing around in crystal
clear knee deep water. After lunch we visit Reechgarh, and then we proceed the Dhupgarh the highest
hill of the Satpura ranges to watch the setting sun lending an ethereal glow of the vistas. Dinner and
overnight in the hotel.

Day 04 After breakfast we proceed for sightseeing of Pachmarhi. Return to the hotel for lunch. After
lunch we board the coach for Bhopal. We arrive Bhopal at dinner time. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 After breakfast we board the coach for Bhimbetka cave. (The magnificent cave is situated just
46 km from Bhopal; they are surrounded by the northern limits of Vindhya mountain Range. As the
legend goes, these hills got their name after Bhima). Return to hotel for lunch. After lunch we visit
Bharat Bhawan The Bharat Bhavan, literally 'Abode or Home of India'. It was conceived and
established as a cultural complex in the early 1980s. Since then, this museum-library, theatre and
music centre. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06 After having breakfast we board the coach for Sanchi is a small town on the outskirts of Bhopal,
situated around 48 km from the capital city. The town comes under the district of Vidisha. Sanchi is the
living example of visions and beliefs of Emperor Ashoka. It is scattered with numerous Buddhist
structures like pillars and stupas. Return to hotel for lunch. After lunch visit to State Museum and
Jama Masjid. Evening transfer to Bhopal railway station to board the train for Delhi at 2100 hrs.
Dinner and overnight travel in train.

Day 07 Arrive at H. Nizamuddin Railway station at 0805 hrs. Transfer to school by coach. TOUR
