Setup for MC55A0, Motorola PDA:

- Install battery and switch unit ON.

- Click on: Wi-Fi: Off

- Click on the PDA symbol down in the right hand corner of the
screen. ( red cross over it)

- Click on: the button (Fusion M…)

- Click on: Enable radio (icon) ( Circle goes from Green to Black )
- Click on Find WLANs (icon)

- Click on: Create profile

- Click on: Next

- Click on the ”arrow down” to the right of the text: OP Mode
filtering.

- Click on: Regulatory, Choose Norway, and take away the tick for:
Enable 802.11d as show in the figure.
- Click on the ”arrow down” to the right of the text: Regulatory, and
click on: Band Selection.

- Tick only 2.4 GHz Band

- Click on the ”arrow down” to the right of the text: Band Selection,
and click on: System Options

- Make sure all “ticks” are on as shown here.

- Click on: Save

- Click: ok

- Click: ok

Installing the Orbit GMT Radio software.

1) Install the battery and place the PDA in the charging cradle. Plug the USB cable into the
PC and the mini-usb plug into the charging cradle.
The PC should automatically see the PDA as a Hand Held PC.
2) Copy the file GMTRadio_X.XX ( X.XX is the version number ) into Program Files on the
PDA.
3) Click on the Windows Flag symbol.

4) Click on File Explorer

- Click on: GMTRadio_XXX.zip

- Double Click on GMTRadio.CAB

5) Remove the PDA from the cradle.

6) Start, GMT Radio
