JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT

I, LOUISE MARIZ PROFUGO, of legal age, Filipino and

residing at #123 Kayak St. Manila, having been duly sworn in
accordance with law, hereby depose and state:
 This Judicial Affidavit has been prepared in English language
and fully understood by me;

I am answering the questions propounded by Atty. Kernell

Sonny Salazar at his office located at Salazar Duque Law Office, 69
Tower C MPlace Condominium, Panay Ave., South Triangle, QC, fully
conscious that I do so under oath, that I may face criminal liability for
false testimony or perjury, and that my answers are based on my
personal knowledge and authentic documents;

I respectfully submit herein my judicial affidavit in lieu of my

direct testimony in the above-captioned case;

The following are the questions asked of me and the answers I

gave him consecutively numbered to wit:

PURPOSES

The testimony of Ms. Louise Mariz M. Profugo is being offered

as support to prove the following:
a. To prove the material allegations in the information;
b. To prove that the accused were guilty of the offense charged;
c. To testify on relevant matters related thereto;

JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT PROPER

Q1: Please state your name and other personal circumstances.

A1: I am Louise Mariz Profugo, of legal age and a resident of #123
Kayak St. Manila

Q2: What is your current occupation?

A2: I am a professional athlete under RP Dragon Boat Team.
Q3: How long have you been working on under the RP Dragon
Boat Team
A3: eight (8) years already.

Q4: How do you know the complainant Ms. Jaena Kaye Sicat?
A4: She is my teammate under RP Dragon Boat Team.

Q5: Can you describe to me how is Ms. Jaena Kaye Sicat as a

member of the Dragon Boat Team?
A5: She is a very dedicated woman when it comes to our practices,
and she is the one who always motivates our teammates.

Q6: How about the accused in this case, do you also know
them?
A5: Only the accused Jerwin Aguinaldo.

Q7: How do you know Jerwin Aguinaldo?

A7: I knew him as the Head Coach of the National Dragon
Boat Race Women’s Division and the Head President of the
Philippine Dragon Boat Federation.

Q8: How do you describe him as your head coach?

A8: He is very strict and he always wants us to come early to our
practices. He is also a short-tempered guy.

Q9: How was the relation of Mr. Jerwin Aguinaldo to your team?
A9: We were okay except for Ms. Jaena Kaye Sicat, they have some
conflict with each other.

Q10: Can you elaborate more?

A10: I have witnessed during one of our practices that Mr. Jerwin
Aguinaldo was shouting against Ms. Jaena, they’re having the
confrontation, because he did not want the suggestion of Ms. Jaena
to have a rest day.

Q11: Do you know why they had an argument?

A11: Yes. It was regarding our training regime being too hard
resulting in us being over trained.

Q12: Do you agree with Ms. Sicat that the training regime was
indeed excessive?
A12: Yes. I mean we were asked to train for more or less 10 hours a
day. For me, it drained me of both my physical and mental strength.

Q13: What did you do during the confrontation?

A13: Nothing. Me and my teammates were shocked but we clearly
heard Mr. Jerwin Aguinaldo utter some words “Makikita mo
kalalagyan mo” before he left.

Q14: Do you have any other things to say?

A14: None Attorney.

1. I conducted the examination of witness LOUIS MARIZ

PROFUGO, on 25 May 2022 in connection with the
above-mentioned case.

2. I faithfully recorded or caused to be recorded the ques-

tions that I asked and the answers that the witness
gave as stated in her Judicial Affidavit.

3. Neither I nor any other person present or assisting the

witness coached her regarding her answer stated in
her Judicial Affidavit.
