WORKPLACE INFORMATION
Chiang Rai Tourist Police is located at 233 Village
No. 3, Ban Pong Salee, San Sai Subdistrict, Mueang
District, Chiang Rai Province. Chiang Rai Tourist Police
are responsible for the country and ensure the safety of
life and property for tourists.
Chiang Rai Tourist Police has a duty to provide
satisfaction in service and convenience to tourists,
create good cooperation between organizations in all
sectors to achieve maximum efficiency in protecting the
interests of tourists, eliminate problems causing
damage to tourist attractions and disorganization.

Assistant Authorities and functions of
Administrative Assistant:
1. Check and register for government
document
2. Send documents by e-mail
4. Photocopy
5. Contact and receive cases by phone
6. Organize documents into files
7. Translate documents into English
8. Be an interpreter when there is a case
of a foreigner
 Police Patrol
Authorities and functions of Police Patrol:
1. The Police Patrol has to inspect tourist attractions,
accommodation, restaurants, and other designated places and
assist in the event of foreign tourists having issues such as expired
visas or expired passports.
2. The Police Patrol has to check and take care of foreign
tourist cases.
According to the SHA or Amazing Thailand Safety and Health
Administration. The aim of the project is to encourage businesses
and activities to develop themselves. Prepare for the New Normal
way of life and lead to Reduce risks and prevent the spread of the
COVID-19 virus and raise the standards of Thai tourism products
and services.
The condition is that the establishment must have received the
SHA standard mark and at least 70% of its personnel must have
received 2 vaccinations in order to receive SHA Plus.
Tourist Police Authorities and functions of Tourist Police
Assistance at Assistance at airport:
1. Check domestic passengers' boarding
airport pass, Passport, Vaccine certificate, or
ATK/RT-PCR.
2. Check domestic passengers' boarding
pass according to the measures of the Chiang
Rai Communicable Disease Committee.
Whereas the measure states that domestic
inbound passengers entering Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai to stop and prevent the spread of
COVID-19.

1. I check out an area patrol with staff
to check the SHA/SHA plus
everyday including schedule plan.
2. I went to the hospital to help
foreigners with cystitis and admit to the
hospital. But the hospital was unable to
contact the relative of that
foreigner. I talk with foreigners and ask for
information.
3. I have settled an argument with a
Korean with a Thai girlfriend that
caused trouble at the hotel.
4. I have talked to tourists who have
problems with their visas being
expired.
5. I went to see an officer as an
interpreter for a foreigner's case.
 Tourist Police Assistance
at airport

6. I have been helping French tourists who are unable to bring their
belongings on board.
