Reflection
Through our community outreach, we student researchers can practice helping others while preparing to be future
health professionals. This experience has been really rewarding for me because I realized how an ordinary
experience may be made spectacular by simply assisting the less fortunate and making them happy, even if only for
a short time. . Even though it was only for three days, the smiles that the community members offered us will live on
in my heart. It wasn't the food or the donations we provided that made the outreach unforgettable, but the smiles on
their faces did. Seeing those smiles reassured me that our outreach program has been a success and was
worthwhile.

Being a blood donor requires both
generosity and bravery.

A single donation can save three lives.
One blood donation provides different blood components that can help up
to three different people. Blood cannot be manufactured. Despite medical
and technological advances, blood cannot be made, so donations are the
only way we can give blood to those who need it.
