SIMPLE PAST TENSE

(was/wasn’t;were/weren’t)
Simple past tense is used:

• to describe an action, event, condition which is occurred in in the past and now
finished.

• to describe actions/situations which happened in the recent or distant past.

Subject + was/were + object.

Subject + was/were not + object.
