Subject: Saving American Forests with Robots

Dear Team,

I hope you are doing well. My name is Dasha, and I am a member of a technology team
here. I am writing to you to propose an idea to help firefighters battling the wildfire crisis
in the US.

As some might know, climate change has doubled the number of large fires between
1984 and 2015 in the United States. Also, unfortunately, the average fire season has
increased from 46 to 154 days over the last 21 years, resulting in over $2 billion in cost
fights annually.

That is why I'd love to propose we start developing robots that can help firefighters in
dangerous areas. These robots would be able to withstand very high temperatures, and
firefighters would be able to operate them from a distance.

Wildfires are greatly dangerous. Back in 2020, we lost 62 firefighters battling the fire.
Not only that, but the smoke from the fire can cause significant respiratory health
issues. And as I previously mentioned, the number of wildfires has doubled in the past
30 years. That is why our firefighters need our help now.

Fire smoke affects everybody, and it is hazardous, even if you do not live in the affected
area. That is why it is so important that we all pay attention to this issue. And that is why
I am proposing to start developing robots that can assist firefighters.
I am looking forward to your response and support. Please contact me by 6/24 at (123)-
456-789, I am available anytime between 2 pm and 4 pm Monday through Thursday.

Thank you for taking the time to read this email.

Best,
Dasha
