Task 1 

The bar chart gives information about the proportion of people using social media
while the pie charts show people's attitude towards it over the past 12 months.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make
comparisons where relevant.
The charts illustrate the percentage of social media user and people's feedback toward
it in the past year. Overall, Facebook, Youtube and Instagram are more popular than
other platforms with people. However, Tik Tok is the most favored app.
Beginning with the bar chart, it is clear to see that Facebook is the most popular app
which comprises three quarters of social media user. This is followed by the figures for
those who use Youtube and Instagram, which are 72% and 63% respectively. The
remaining groups only account for a good proportion of consumer, with Twitter
comprising 42%, Tik Tok occupying 35% ,and SnapChat making up 30%.
Moving to the pie charts, it can be seen that the percentage of benefical feedback
toward Tik Tok is 57%, which is double those of all social media. In term of adverse
respone, Tik Tok consists of 43% while overall platforms accounts for nearly three
quarters.
Task 2

Employers should focus on personal qualities instead of qualifications and


experience when choosing someone for a job.

Some people say that employers should concentrate on personal attributes rather than
academic degrees and experience when employing workers. In my opinion, I totally
disagree with this viewpoint.
To begin with, it needs to be admitted that qualifications and experience are necessary
because there are various occupations that require high level of studies and certain
degrees. These requirements are crucial standards to illustrate that a person have full
ability to practice in some profession. For example, becoming a talented doctor need a
long time to study and pratice because of its complication. Supposed that that doctors
weren’t qualified, their patients would be devastating. That is the reason why illustrious
doctor has high income. In addition, CEO is also a occupation which requires academic
degrees and experience because he or she can make decision of the success of
corporation. If a CEO do not has a good strategic vision ,his or her corporation can not
develop strongly
Furthermore, it can be seen that high degrees and expertise are beneficial for
corporation in numerous ways like increasing turnover and fame. Firstly, profit will be
rised significantly if company has a number of qualified worker, because their knowledge
can make work more effective and easier. Additionally, human resources can be
decreased remarkably because of the fierce competition, thereby saving tons of money.
Secondly, company can be noticed by massive corporation in the world if it can make
different. Therefore, becoming renowned because company can have opportunity to be
cooperated with massive corporation and invested by them.
In conclusion, stringent requirements for professions and benefits for company are
suitable reasons why study levels and experience should be concentrated on. Therefore, I
strongly disagree with the fact that personal qualities should be focused on instead of
degrees and experience during employment.
