We had a great performance today! The audience was eating this play up! Particular moments of laugther were: the
opening monologues, "Tell your grandfather he can't drive no more.", "I got another set hidden.", "80 year old Catholics
with giant bags of quarters.", "Tell me when you feel you're going, I'll see who I can dig up.", "Nicky, what kind of friends
do you have?", "You can move in with us!", there was an audible reaction to Frank's line "No rent, four meals a day.", "If
we're still alive, God willing.", Emma's "I'll get it!", Emma introducing Caitlin, Emma fixing Nick's hair, "At my generous, I
would not describe them as relaxing.", Frank's prayer at dinner, the converstation abour vegetarian and animal doctor,
"The pope would eat the veal too.", "Maybe if you did something with your hair.", "I can't be quiet. I'm passionate!", "It's
like hitting the lottery.", "Let me take the veal and make you a sandwich.", ""That was a 150 years ago.", all of the trivial
pursuit scene (some even yelled out the answer), Nunzio's and Emma's love story (we also got an applaude after the
dancing scene!), "There are sick animals in need of nursing.", Nick singing to Caitlin, the lasagna bit, Aida talking about
how she did not like Atlantic city, among many more! The audience was shocked and had a verbal boo when Nick said
"There's nothing really keeping me here." We got another standing ovation and there were many tissues in the audience.
Technical
1) There was a squirrel in the house and backstage during preshow. We believe it was able to get out because there was no
sign of it during the show.
COSTUMES/MAKEUP:
1) None tonight, thank you!
LIGHTS:
1) None tonight, thank you!
PROPS:
1) Thank you for securing the lid to the candy bowl!
SCENERY:
1) None tonight, thank you!
SOUND:
1) Thank you for coming to look at the over head mics! They sounded a lot better today.
2) During the preshow music cue, there were two moments where sound was not playing even though the cue was going. I
restarted the cue and that fixed the problem. It looks like there is a "fade (Untitled Group Cue)" that autofollows with the
GO of SQ A causing the music to fade out before I press SQ B.

REHEARSAL #: 5
GENERAL/CREATIVE INFORMATION:
Another great rehearsal today! And with so many new props and furniture to play with! We started today running Act 1
off-book. There were a couple stumbles, but we pushed through. After the run through, we polished some scenes in Act
1 and then broke for lunch. When we came back from lunch, we worked Act 2 in preparation for our run through of Act 2
off-book tomorrow.
LIGHTING:
1) Thank you for all the new rehearsal props and furniture!
2) Can we please ADD another bottle of wine that is a good type of wine? We will need to 3 wine bottle totals.
3) Can we please get a pillow and a dish rag for tomorrow's rehearsal?
4) We will need 13 dinner plates, 5 small plates, 13 sets of utensils, and 11 wine glasses total.
5) Please see SCENIC 1). Thank you!
SCENIC:
1) When we are picking out the couch, can we please make sure the backing is not too high? We have blocking where
actors sitting on the couch are interacting with actors behind the couch.
2) Is it possible to have the fireplace unit for rehearsal to help us with blocking?
SOUND:
1) Thank you for the flashdrive!
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT:
None tonight, thank you!
THEATRE OPERATIONS:
None tonight, thank you!
FRONT OF HOUSE/MARKETING:
1) Do we have any update on when we plan to take the family portrait and press photo?
