Figure 1. Site Logistic Layout Plan

A. Access and Egress

• Access and egress for vehicles will be via BOH of the Pavilion. Personnel will have their
own mobility drop off area access at FOH. Thus, full segregation of pedestrians and
vehicles will be maintained at all times. This will be achieved by the erection of physical
barriers.
• Due cognizance will be taken of the adjacent areas. All deliveries and vehicular
movements will be planned accordingly to EXPO Permit approval.
• On arrival on site all operatives will be briefed on site rules, access arrangements and
emergency procedures
• Access to the work locations will be via the routes that will be shown to the operative
at their task briefing. The emergency escape routes and details of the fire and
emergency alarm signals for their workplace will also be confirmed at the site induction

• Access and egress routes for vehicles and pedestrians are identified on the site logistics
plan and this will be displayed in the site office/ welfare unit.
• Entrances gates will be closed / locked at all times, except when a delivery is taking
place.
• An operative will be appointed to oversee all traffic movements on/off site.
• Access and egress to the site will be via the main entrance as shown on the site logistics
plan.
• There are adequate areas for waiting and parking within the site. It is not therefore
anticipated that site traffic will have any impact on the surrounding road systems.
• Pedestrians will be given priority to the footpath;
• Vehicles will be inspected prior to leaving site to ensure that demolition materials are
not deposited on the public road system

TEMPORARY SITE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLAN

The perimeter of the defined site will be barricaded and signposted to prevent
unauthorized access. Access points will be established and only worker(s) who have been site
inducted with the authority of the Project Manager may enter these zones.
