A. HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
Wintech group is a unique Fluid Engineering service provider with
unsurpassed experience in the field, which caters to Oil & Gas, Marine,
Iron & Steel, Cement, Mining and the Machine Tool Industry. Formed
specifically to meet the growing needs for high quality service and
product supply, Wintech is a specialist Fluid Engineering Company able
to deliver the solutions and products required to keep the drive and
control system operating in the demanding Indian and Arabian
environment. The group with its expertise in the fields of Hydraulics,
Pneumatics, Filtration, Lubrication, Centrifugal pumps and Hydro-
jetting pumps to suit different applications, is fully geared up to serve
its customers in supply and service activities.
With a humble beginning of its activities in India at Chennai in 2009,
Wintech spread its wings to Saudi Arabia by the name of Fluid Power
Trading & Services Center, at Bahrain and Dubai in the United Arab
Emirates in the name of Wintech Hydraulics Maintenance & Services and
will continue to spread further in days to come.
Wintech’s strategy is to provide quality, efficient and timely solutions to
its customers in its locations and develop a long-standing relationship
with them. Wintech’s investment in manpower and equipment gives its
customers complete satisfaction and with this encouragement and
confidence, it continues its investment in high tech equipment as it aims

E) SERVING THE ENERGY SECTOR
While Wintech offer products and services to a wide range of industries,
their focus is the Energy Sector. The Wintech team has extensive
experience in the Energy Sector, supplying and installing offshore and
onshore rig solutions for exploration and production, refinery drive and
control solutions and a range of hydraulic solutions in power plants and
for Government and private sector electric companies.
F) RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION
The company uses methods of recruitment and selection such as the (a)
use of media, specifically with newspaper and the internet; (b) employee
/known contact referrals/recommendations. Most of the time, the
company prefers to use the media as a way of recruitment. Wintech
follows a selection procedure for recruitment. Recruitment is based on
qualifications and experience of the recommended person. Though the
main engineers, technicians and other administrative staff are the
company’s own employees, contractual labor is with the use of recruiting
agencies that are mainly intended for labor-oriented jobs based on
projects.
G) KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Everyone is aware of the shortage of competent Fluid Power experts
globally and acute in the Gulf Region. Wintech is proud to have a
complete compliment of top level Fluid Power Engineers and Technicians
to offer its service in this field to its customers. Management, Sales and

H) TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Training and development is one of the major tasks Wintech gives
importance to, a. Each employee is handpicked by his superior thru
performance evaluation and sent to professional training centers to be
trained and perform professionally in their relevant tasks. While
engineers and technicians are trained to excel in their technical
capabilities, sales engineers are trained for product knowledge and
customer service. b. Regular training sessions are categorized and
conducted for customers by professional lecturers in the respective fields
to train its customers in the fields of oil & gas, marine, cement, steel and
machine tools.

Team building is also necessary because most of the jobs entail group
cooperation and unity. And lastly, management trainings are also
essential since some jobs demands managerial skills. The company
believes that productivity is the result of man power capability and

I) PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
The efforts of every employee for a job well done as well as the
employees’ flaws are recognized by the company. With this, the
company provides a lot of compensation and benefits. For regular
employees standard Salary and other agreed Benefits are assured.
Contractual employees only receive basic pay on a monthly basis or as
agreed by their employer.
J. DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES
Employees who violate company rules and regulations are put into
disciplinary procedures. First, the supervisor would inform the
employee or give the first notice, then he is asked to depend himself.
The employee is given 24 hours to answer or clarify his violations. If
the employee is not able to clarify/ defend it within that period of time
he will receive the second notice. If there is no response, tendency is,
the employee will be suspended / terminated depending on the
magnitude of the violation. Negligence in regulatory in attendance and
punctuality to work are also considered serious violation if not adhered
to as per the rules of the company.
