The National Law University Delhi has notified the following seat matrix for
admission to the LL.M. Programme for the Academic Year 2022-23:

Note: 5% Horizontal Reservation is provided to PwD Candidates across the

 The University offers various streams of specialization in LL.M.


Programme. However, all the streams of specialization may not be offered
to students as it is contingent upon various factors such as minimum
number of students opting for a specialization, availability of subject
teacher and other relevant conditions as per the LL.M Regulations of NLU
Delhi.

 The final list for inviting for online counselling is prepared based on
a combination of the scores in Section A and Section B.

 The evaluation of Section B, the following process has followed:

The university has prepared a list consisting of three times the


number of seats for each category of students, taking into account
the reservation policy of the University, on the basis of total marks
secured by the candidate in Section A. Evaluation for Section B has
been done only for the candidates covered by this list.

A) ONLINE COUNSELLING REGISTRATION:


1. The counselling for admission of candidates to NLU Delhi is completely
online. All candidates are advised to login to the AILET website and check
if they have been invited for counselling. Further, an email/SMS also shall
be sent to all eligible candidates inviting them for counselling. The
counselling information will be uploaded on the AILET website as well.
NLU Delhi will not be responsible for non-delivery of EMAILS/SMS.

2. a) The following will be Online counselling registration fee:


 Candidates of General /Kashmiri Migrants Category -
Rs.30,000.00
 Candidates of ST/SC/OBC/EWS/PWD candidates–Rs.20,000.00
b) Candidates are required pay the counselling registration fee before
the last date. Requests for payments after the last date will not be
considered in any circumstance.
c) Payments shall be made via online mode ONLY. Candidates are
advised not to wait till last minute to make payments, to avoid
payment related issues. NLU Delhi will not be responsible for any
issues relating to payments. You must wait till you see a ‘Payment
Successful’ message. Requests to make payments after last date
due to transaction failures or other issues will not be considered.
d) Counselling Fee to be paid through Digital Payment methods like
Credit/ Debit Card, Net-banking, UPI etc. only.
3. The candidates are required to upload the following self-attested
documents in serial order given below (in pdf format in one file) while

registering for Online Counselling before the stipulated date.


Therefore, candidates are advised to be ready with these documents
by Saturday, July 2, 2022:

a) Statement of Marks of B.A.LL.B.(Hons.)/LL.B. or equivalent


Examination (in case result is awaited, the declaration at ANNEXURE-
II, needs to be submitted
b) Marks Statement / Mark-sheets of X and XII Class Examination or
equivalent Examination.
c) Character Certificate from the institution last attended.
d) Valid category certificate (PwD/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ KM etc.) if
applied under these categories. The OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
certificate should be issued by the competent authority under
the Central List of OBCs or under the Delhi State List of OBCs
(Notified by the Government of NCT of Delhi) on or after 1st
January 2022. The EWS certificate should be issued on or after 1st
January 2022. Any other supporting document to claim a seat for the
category you have applied.

e) The University will issue a category wise provisional merit list of only
those candidates who have successfully completed the counselling
registration and paid the required counselling fee within stipulated
time period. Mere registration for the counselling will not guarantee a
seat.

B) PROVISIONAL MERIT LIST OF SELECTED CANDIDATE


(CATEGORY WISE)

Your provisional admission is subject to the following conditions:

1. To be eligible to appear for admission to One year- LL.M. Programme,


a candidate should have passed the LL.B. or an equivalent degree from
a recognised University with not less than 50% marks in aggregate
(45% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability category).

2. The candidate passed in compartment in the year of the admission,


would be treated as ineligible.

3. The Online Counselling will start w.e.f. July 2, 2022, 6:00 PM. The
University will invite approximately three times the number of
candidates corresponding to number of seats in each category to
register for Online Counselling. The list of candidates who have been
invited for registration for the online counselling will be uploaded on
the University website in order of AILET merit on July 2, 2022. All such
candidates are required to deposit their counselling fee within
stipulated time period. In the event of non-declaration of the result of
qualifying examination, the candidate shall sign an undertaking in the
prescribed proforma-Annexure-II.

4. If a candidate’s name is in the list of provisionally selected candidates,


the candidate is required to pay the balance fee (Annexure-I) within
stipulated time period failing which provisional admission offer will
automatically stand cancelled & counselling fee paid will be forfeited.
5. The balance fee (Annexure-I) shall be paid through the same
portal/interface through the same login via which, candidates have
registered for online counselling.
6. The University will also issue category wise waiting list of only those
candidates who have registered for online counselling. In case any
vacancy arises due to withdrawal of admission or non-payment of
balance fee (Annexure-I) by the provisionally selected candidate within
the stipulated time period, the seat shall be filled up from the waiting
list candidates of concerned categories only in order of merit.
7. Requests for payment of fee after the last date will not be considered
under any circumstances. Candidates are advised not to wait till last
minute to make payments to avoid payment related issues. NLU Delhi
will not be responsible for any issues relating to payments. You must
wait till you see a “Payment Successful’ message & acknowledgment

slip generated”. Requests to make payments after last date due to


transaction failures or any other issues will not be considered under
any circumstances.
8. The detailed fee structure payable by the candidate for academic year
2022-23 is attached as Annexure- I.
9. The University will refund the counselling fee of only such candidates
who have successfully registered for the counselling and paid the
counselling fee but due to higher cut off could not find place in the
provisional merit list of the respective categories for admission. The
said refund will be initiated by the University after July 25, 2022 or on
completion of admission process whichever is earlier. The counselling
fee will be refunded/remitted to the same account from which it was
paid. No requests of depositing it in any other account will be
entertained.

C) HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION

 It may be noted that due to space constraints, National Law University


Delhi will not provide Hostel facilities to students (Male or Female)
admitted in the LL.M. Programme 2022.

to submit my B.A.LL.B. (Hons.)/LL.B. final mark sheet with minimum 50% (45%
in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities) marks by July 20, 2022. In case I
fail to secure the minimum prescribed percentage and submit the same within
stipulated date, my admission may be cancelled and I shall have no claim for
the same.
