Accountabilities:
1. Comply with all PTVI and Engineering Department EHS procedures, standards and policies in
Engineering Project area.
2. Ability to innovate independently and work with other Engineers/Maintenance to develop ideas into a
detailed scheme supported by calculations.
3. Provide Mechanical Engineering support for the design and development of new innovative designs,
resolve technical problems with existing equipment, and throughout development projects
4. Ability to optimize process and using statistical tools to develop engineering improvement and solution.
5. Provide engineering recommendation on any deviations to solve the problem.
6. Resolve technical issues during project execution and complete commissioning after project is
completed, to ensure the project meets the planned objectives.
7. Coaching and mentoring engineers to improve design method, quality and minimize design production
time. Technical review to other Engineers design.
8. Provide comprehensive report as reference for engineering calculation, methods, project execution
and modifications.
Technical Specialization:
1. Familiar with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software.
2. Thermodynamic Calculation
3. Fluid Mechanic calculation and software (AFT Fathom, CFD fluid mechanic)
4. Vibration analyst competence
5. Excellent in Excel for Pivot, Power query, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
6. Familiar with MATLAB, Python, AFT Fathom
7. Capable in English
8. Strong communication skills

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is preferred)
2. Experience as Mechanical Engineer minimum 5 years
3. Has Management or Leadership experience
4. Passed POP certification/K3 Workshop
