Manfred Steger - Political Globalization refers to the intensification and expansion of political

interrelations across the globe

Another explanation Political globalization: the development and growing influence of

international organizations such as the UN or WHO means governmental action takes place
at an international level.. There are other bodies operating a global level such as NGO’s like
Doctors without borders or Oxfam

So for those who don’t know the UN, The United Nations is an international organization
founded in 1945 and committed to maintaining international peace and security; developing
friendly relations among nations; promoting social progress, better living standards and
human rights.
And WHO world health organization It is responsible for providing leadership on global
health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards,
articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries
and monitoring and assessing health trends.
And NGO’s Non-governmental organizations, or NGOs, were first called such in Article 71
in the Charter of the newly formed United Nations in 1945. While NGOs have no fixed or formal
definition, they are generally defined as nonprofit entities independent of governmental influence
(although they may receive government funding).

When you say political globalization it will always refer to political interrelation across countries.

For example: the issue between the West Philippine sea and China is an example of political
globalization. Why? Because the one who settle it politically is the UN Tribunal Court which
belongs to the United nation and united nation is an international organization

So when you hear the word political globalization always think about interralationship with other
countries when it comes to politics
