In the above figure, since the secondary side of the signal

is more positive than the secondary end of the second in
the positive alternance of the signal, the diodes D3 and D4
are in the section while the diodes D1 and D2 are in
conduction. A current flow through the load resistance Ry
is provided via diodes D1 and D2.

In the negative alternance, since the secondary end 2 is

more positive than the secondary end 1, the diodes D3
and D4 are in conduction, the diodes D1 and D2 are in the
section.

FILTER CIRCUIT (CONDENSER) PART:

The filter circuits are used to convert the DC voltage at the
rectifier output to the full DC voltage.
REGULATING CIRCUIT (ZENER DIODE) PART:
There are fluctuations in the DC voltage at the output of
the filter circuit, although there are few fluctuations in the
DC voltage and current at the filter circuit output.

a- DC output voltage changes if DC output voltage and

current are constant and load changes.
b- The DC output voltage changes if the mains voltage
changes while the load is steady.

In all circuits where voltage stability is desired, load

current and voltage should not be changed. For this
purpose, regulated circuits are used.

Voltage Adjustment Part:

In this section, the T3 transistor Ie current increases with

the potentiometer and T3 transistor is adjusted by the
input Ib and the corresponding voltage increases
accordingly.

Voltage and Current Setting Part

Calculations:

The T1 and T2 transistors form the darlington pair.

Short Circuit Protection Part:

To protect the circuit from overload current, R4, R5

resistors and T4 transistor are used. Here, the main duty is
on R4 resistance. The Vbe voltage of the T4 is generated
by the current falling on this resistance. The T4 transmits
the transistor and protects the circuit from overload
current.

• C1 = 22001f / 63V electrolytic capacitor
• ZD = 30V zener diode
• Transistors T1 = 2N3055, T2 = T4 = BD239, T3 = BC141
• Resistors: R1 = 1K5 (2W), R2 = 470, R3 = 680, R4 = 22, R5
= 120, R6 = 1K (2W)
• 5mm Red LED

Printed Circuit Board

First, the printed circuit of the circuit is removed. A printed

circuit is drawn on the copper plate. Permanet is passed
over the circuit drawn by the pen. Then the salt is mixed
with perhydral 1/3 ratio. Wash with plenty of water. It is
cleaned and dried with thinner or cif (cleaning agent).
Then the places where the circuit elements will be
inserted are drilled. Finally, the circuit elements are
soldered on the plaque.
