Rights and Obligations of Professional
Organizations
 The right of any professional
organization includes the following:
1. To act as representatives of the
body in any meeting, session,
and gathering conducted by the
CHED or the recognized Board
or Commission
2. To act as the exclusive
representatives of medical
technologists as in the case of
PAMET; medical technology
professors as in the case of
PASMETH; or students of
medical technology in the case
of the implementation of new
changes in the medical
technology curriculum as set
forth by the Technical Panel of
CHED
3. To implement rules, regulations,
and policies regarding
membership and other related
activities
4. To undertake and conduct
activities like seminars,
workshops, and conventions for
the members’ professional
growth and development; and
5. To do or perform any act for the
benefit of the members and the
organization as a whole
