WORLD TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION AND

DEPED NIGHT'S PASIDUNGOG 2022

1. Pursuant to RA No. 10743 or an "Act Declaring the Fifth Day of October of Every
Year as the National Teachers Day" and, United Nations Educational Scientific and
Cultural Organization (UNESCO)'s international observance of World Teachers' Day
every year to honor those who are in the teaching profession, and to acknowledge the
unwavering service and valuable contributions of the teachers in nurturing the minds,
values, and character of the Filipino youth and the generations around the globe and
in recognition also of the vital role that teachers play in nation-building, this Office
commits to faithfully find ways to award teachers for their hard work and dedication
to the teaching profession.

2. In view of the aforementioned, a World Teachers' Day Celebration and Talisay City
Division DepEd Night's Pasidungog 2022 shall be held on October 8, 2022,
Saturday, at 7:30 PM at the Talisay City Sports Complex, Poblacion, Talisay City,
Cebu.

3. The participants of this activity are all DepEd Tali say City Division teaching and non-
teaching personnel. The Pasidungog 2022 awardees are encouraged to wear "cocktail
dress" for females and "semi formal" attire for males. The audience are expected to
be in "Sunday's best-inspired" outfits.

4. Hereto attached is the steering and working committees.

5. Meals and snacks, and other incidental expenses shall be chargeable against School
and Division MOOE, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and
regulations.

6. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum ts hereby

directed.
