Part 1: Soft Skills

Firstly, how well did you work with others? How well did you collaborate? How well did you
cooperate? How well did you receive feedback from your peers? Overall, were you a good
group member?

Rationale:
Please provide a rationale to justify your grade for soft skills.
Our group was formed with me, Ngoc, Minh Ha, and Hong Minh. After creating the
group, we immediately started to choose a topic for the podcast. Each of us chose a
topic, and then together, we decided on the most feasible topic, which is "comparing
modernity in Literature between Vietnam and France." Although my topic about "
comparing modernity in the dating culture between the two countries, Vietnam and
America," was not chosen, I am still delighted and support the topic that the whole
group agrees. After that, we all decided Ngoc would be the group leader. I got along,
stayed united with my teammates, and listened to their opinions. Along with that, I also
attended every group meeting, finished all my jobs, and helped everyone in the group
with their work. Every work that I collab with my teammates was done very well. I also
avoid causing disunity in the group by being willing to listen to all opinions as well as
being willing to contribute ideas to the work of the group. In conclusion, I consider
myself, as well as my teammate, are, excellent group members. I felt fortunate to have
good teammates, who are also my new friends.

Please provide a rationale to justify your grade for hard skills.
The topic of our group is to compare modernity in French and Vietnamese literature.
My work in the group was to find information about the concept of modernity as well
as modernity in France and Vietnam. I also had to study the history of French
colonialism in Vietnam and its influence on politics, culture, and their influence on

Vietnamese literature. In addition, the study of modernity in Vietnamese and French

literature in the 19th century and the concept of two popular literature in Vietnam at
that time, which are realistic literature and romantic literature, is also an important
work of mine. Then when our team worked on the script. I participated in the
recording as the character Hung-one of the hosts of the podcast. I also prepare the
tool and place for recording the podcast. And finally, one of the most important things
that I had to do was guide my teammate to record our podcast. Then I finished the
editing to arrange the dialogue and perfect the sound quality for the recording. All my
work was completed on time and met the team's quality requirements, and I find that
I perform my assigned tasks and work as a team very effectively.
