1
Historical ships: a different and exclusive support

The Foundation manages two replicas, in real size, of the spanish historical ships: The Nao Victoria and the Andalucía Galleon.

They represent exceptional and very flexible supports, whose capacity of attraction and social impact is easily demonstrated.

They are extraordinary cultural resources that mix history and innovation. They have facilities and cutting-edge equipment; computer and
telematic systems, air conditioning, T.V, firefighting systems, etc.
2

The Nao Victoria

The Victoria is the replica of the ship which in 1522, after

three years sailing and commanded by Juan Sebastian Elcano,
achieved the main heroic deed in the universal maritime
history: to sail the Globe for the first time in the human
history.

The Nao Victoria is the most faithful replica of the ships used
by the spanish discoverers and the only one in the world
which nowadays sails with the same navigation techniques as
the spanish ships from the 16th century.
