I. PHẦN 1:Practical questions:
- Students will be asked about 4- 5 questions
- The level of some extended questions will depend on each student’s performance.
II. PHẦN 2: Interaction
- After part 1, two students will pick up a couple of cue cards then get back to their
seats for preparation.
- Once part 1 is finished, examiners will call the first pair to come up to carry on the
task of part 2.
- The two students have to make a conversation in which all written structures must
be included.
III. PHẦN 3: Picture presentation
- After part 2, two student will pick up a piece of paper which is numbered.
- The task is to tell something .bout the picture based on a given topic.

PART 1: PRACTICAL QUESTIONS UNIT 1 – 6


1. Are you a big fan of soccer/volleyball/basketball/badminton/tennis? Why do
you like it?
- I’m not a big fan of sports because I don’t like them and I don’t have a lot of
time to play them. I just play sports for fun with my friends.
2. Are you interested in reading books/watching TV/playing games? Why or why
not?
- I don’t like reading books very much because it’s quite boring for me.
- I’m quite interested in watching TV because My family can get together and I
can watch a lot of programs on Television.
- I really like playing games but I sometimes play it because when I always play
games I feel boring.
3. Tell me some exciting activities we can do during summer vacation or in our
free time.
-We can do a lot of activities during summer vacation or in our free time.
-We can learn a new skill such as learning how to bake a cake, how to dance,
playing a musical instrument or we can travel with family.

4.Have you got any collection like coin collection or shoe collection? Do you think
collection is a healthy interest? Why/ why not?
- No, I haven’t. For me, I think the collection is a healthy interest because It
helps us to understand more about the history of the item, understand more
about the culture, etc.
- Collecting gives players a healthy, rewarding playground. Thereby, it is
possible to limit the temptation and the complex social evils that are taking
place.
5.Where can you buy clothes/shoes/laptop/etc? which place do you often go for
shopping? Why do you choose it?
- I can buy them at the supermarket or market. I often go shopping at the Đông Thạnh
Market. I choose it because it’s near my house and the goods on the market are always
cheap.

6.If you had a birthday party, what kind of food would you choose for the menu
(starter, main course, dessert)?
- If I have a birthday party, I will choose simple food for the menu.
-For example, Starter has vegetable soup, sausage, and mixed salad. The main course
has fried shrimp, fried fish balls, and chicken curry. Dessert has jelly, choco pie, ice
cream. That so!

7. Tell me some unusual food you’ve known. Do you like any of them? Why/why
not?
- Unusual food I know are fried insects, sauce fish, and palm weevil. Of them I like
sauce fish because I eat sauce fish every day.
