Willow Regeneration in Yellowstone National Park
• Studyied the role played by beaver, elk, and wolf populations and the regeneration of the previously
declining willow populations
• Performed lab work, which included processing willow samples on an extraction line so the water
content could be tested for which oxygen isotope is present

Water Resource Issues in Rocky Mountain National Park
• Investigated the role played by low beaver populations and water diversion in the maintenance of
wetland hydrology and ecology
• Conducted field work consisting of monitoring water levels in ground wells and weirs and lab work
consisting of preparing and processing soil samples to determine chemical composition
