Welcome to the class. To get through the course, the students will be assessed continuously
throughout the semester. The following provide details of the various assessments for this course.

GROUP ASSIGNMENT (25%)

Part 1: Data Analysis Using SPSS (20%)

1. In a group of 5 students, select ONE management/business topic and search the

questionnaire in appropriate article.
2. Please find recent journal articles (2017 onwards).
3. The questionnaire must replicating the research done in article chosen.
4. Collect the data based on the questionnaire provided by your group. Minimum requirement
150 of respondents.
5. Get approval from your lecturer before collect the data.
6. You are required to develop the research objectives based on the data analysis
techniques, namely T-Test, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Multiple Regression.
7. Analyse the data gathered using SPSS.
8. Writing the report of the assignment.
9. The final report must be prepared according to the following components:
a. Research title
b. Abstract
c. Research objectives
 d. Research framework and hypothesis
e. Sample and sampling
f. Instruments and measurements items
g. Data analysis technique (descriptive and inferential statistics)
h. Result and interpretation of the output
i. Implication and limitation
j. Conclusion
6. Submission of the final report of the group assignment via Goggle Classroom.
7. Due date: Week 12

Note: Video step by step on how to enter the data and statistical analysis techniques in
SPSS software will be given via Goggle Classroom or the link of the video through google
drive.

Part 2: Poster Presentation: (5%)

1. Each group must present their research finding at week 13 (to be confirmed) via google
meet.
2. Prepare the poster during the presentation.
3. Use suitable apps such as Canva when you prepare a poster for the presentation.
3. Each group must submit the poster before the presentation to the platform created in
the Goggle Classroom.

INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT (25%)

Part 1: Quiz (15%)

1. Compulsory for each student to answer the online quiz.

2. Three (3) quizzes will be conducted throughout the course. Each quiz will contribute 5%.
3. Question format: (to be confirmed).
4. Date, duration and platform of online quiz submission (to be confirmed).

Part 2: Tutorial (10%)

1. Compulsory for each student to answer the tutorial questions.

2. Tutorial exercises will be conducted after completing each session of learning chapter.
3. Each student is required to answer all the questions provided in the Business Statistics
Workbook.
4. All tutorials must be answered using handwriting.
5. Write down the answer for each questions in Business Statistics Workbook in the
spaces provided.
6. You are required to scan the tutorial answers and submit in a one file only. Suggestion
using PDF format.
7. Submit the file in the tutorial platform created in the Goggle Classroom.
8. Compulsory for each student to discuss his/her answer during the online tutorial class at
least five (5) times.
MID SEMESTER TEST (10%)

1. Design of mid semester test: online test.

2. Mid semester test questions: (to be confirmed).
3. This examination will cover starting from Chapter 1 (Introduction to Statistics) until Chapter
5 (Normal Distribution).
4. Mid semester test date (to be confirmed).
5. Duration and mid semester test platform (to be confirmed).

FINAL ASSESSMENT (40%)

1. Design of final assessment: At home examination.

2. Final assessment questions: Structure questions. This examination will cover starting from
Chapter 6 and onwards (to be confirmed).
3. Final assessment must be answered using handwriting.
4. Final assessment date: (to be confirmed).
5. Duration and final assessment platform: (to be confirmed).
