CHAPTER ONE
1.1Business Description.
This business will operate under the name Pine Electronic Cyber and will be situated in Turkana
north Area .operation will be managed under as a sole proprietor by Newton Legion , proposed
business address will be Pp. Box 345 3500 Lower and will use the owners number 0702141576.The
main purpose of the Business will Be Training various types of packages.

1.2 Marketing Plans


The business customers will include the dwellers of Turkana north area, various cyber and
computer shops owners. The business may also Face some competition from some competitors such
as, ISOFT cyber.

1.3 Organizational and Management Plan


The business will be managed by a various personnel, in their various sectors. The owner will be the
overall manager assisted by the deputy manager who will check on the shortcoming of the
enterprise and give possible solutions in absence of general manager.

1.4 Operational Plan


The business will need balances, computer packages, computer techniques, computer challenges; it
will also require stock from Computer cyber Stores .The store will be rented at a cost of ksh.30,
000PER MONTH. There will be rules and regulations affecting the running of the business.

1.5 Financial Plan


The business Requires a capital for five hundred thousand shillings 500,000 The entrepreneur will
raise Four hundred thousand shillings 400,000 , in form of owners .The remaining hundred thousand
shillings 100,000 will be borrowed from KCB bank in Kenya.

2.1. PERSONAL BACKGROUND
The business will be operated and managed by Cap Napak, who is currently taking Certificate Course
in Information Communication Technology at Kabarak of ICT.There will ba possibility because the
owner will have had accumulated enough capital,will have acquired enough computer skills and also
will have discovered Enough computer techniques.

2.2 INVOLVEMENT OF THE BUSINESS


The business will be involved in selling of computer electronics of different parts and the prices will
be according to the quality of the computer part being sold. This will include Adapter, charger, flash,
and hard drives .This will be done to satisfy customers and win them from the exciting competitors
hence maximising the profits.

2.3 NATURE OF THE BUSINESS


The business will be run under sole proprietorship at the start up as listed below.

 Easy to make decisions
 Easy to control and manage stock
 Benefit of profits

branch but others will be opened three years later after opening the business.

4. Discovery of the need of the pine electronics cyber products

Pine electronics cyber falls under electronic product industry which is rapidly growing up faster
according to the information got from the research by the ministry of technology.

Then Rapid growths of cyber and electronic stores demand seem to increase with time due to the
quality.

2.8 JUSTIFICATION OF THE BUSINESS


Research on the justification and sustainability of the area for the intended type of the business due
to the following

1. Market- there is customer and industrial market in the area


2. Demand-Increased demand in the area because of high population
3. Availability of social amenities
4. Good transport and network communication

3.1 INTRODUCTION
Marketing is creation of awareness of the goods and services that exist in the market or put in
the market so the customers are made aware of it.

Marketing created different flow of the products from the entrepreneur to the customers in
order to achieve targeted areas.

3.2Marketing area
Marketing areas are selected to the availability of market targeted by the business the business
area will also depend on the status of the market that is the growth of the business or the
potential of the customers

3.3Customers
The targeted customers will be grouped accordingly to their potential of buying. The grouping
will depend on various factors like the general income and economic activity in the area.

There are two main competitors who are partially active and take 60 of the market share and are
located in turkana north but since they opened there has been no improvement

According to research the competitors take 50 of the total area market. Pine electronics store wil
occupy 40 at the start up with a vision of increasing its market share. This will be achieved through

Pine electronic stores will contribute in sponsoring the illiterate computer persons in

Since electronics are portable any channel of distribution can be used to
distribute the electronics. The business shall use direct channels of distribution
which will be very short and no middle men involved.

customers to other electronic stores who will also sell to the customers as
