INTRODUCTION
Plagiarism has become very
common nowadays, that is
why we will see in this
presentation: What is it? and
what are the types? and the
consequences for the
development of their work.
What is meant by
plagiarism?
Plagiarism is the act of copying or paraphrasing
the work or ideas of others into a work without
explicit acknowledgment of authorship. This
concept includes any material, made public or
unpublished, handwritten, printed or in
electronic version.
What forms of plagiarism can
occur?
Direct Plagiarism: This involves copying someone
else's work verbatim without giving proper credit. This
could be copying a sentence, a paragraph, or an entire
document word for word.
Paraphrasing Plagiarism: Paraphrasing involves
rephrasing someone else's ideas or words in your own
