SUBJECT: USB PREP TOOL VER. 1.3

GENERAL:
This Technical Bulletin is the release note for the USB Prep Tool Ver.1.3. The USB Prep Tool can be used
when re-installing the system software for E-3300.

About USB Prep Tool

USB Prep Tool is utility software for service use only.
This utility can be used when reinstall the system software by using a USB memory drive.

For details of usage of this utility, please read the “Installing System Software Using a USB Drive” in the E-
3300/E-5300 service manual.

This patch can be downloaded at either the Technology Solutions Resource Center web site at
http://www.tsrc.ricoh-usa.com or FSD/DSD.

Installation Procedure
1. If a previous version of USB prep tool is already installed in your PC, uninstall it.
2. Extract the USB_PT_V13_E_3300_E-5300.zip, until you get the PT folder.
3. Open the PT folder.
4. Double click on the “Setup.exe” to install the application.
5. Check the legal notice and go through the installation.
