Reflection and Self-Evaluation (4n, 5m)

How do you feel about your lesson?
Today I felt quite confident in delivering my lesson as I was quite well prepared and followed the framework
throughout the lesson. The main focus was vocabulary, so I was able to drill and get the meaning across
without having too much trouble. I also think it was student centred lesson.

What aspects of the lesson are you happy with? Why?

I think I enjoyed getting them to speak and guess the meaning of each new word. I enjoyed seeing them working
on their in the breakout room especially in test one and Test 2 during the controlled practice. Also, I think they
did quite well speaking to their partners in the break-out rooms during the freer practice session.

What aspects of the lesson are you unhappy with? Why?

I think I still need to improve to make my MFP lesson more interesting and student-oriented so teaching can be
fun, and they can learn without stressing out.

Is there anything specific you would like to discuss in feedback?

I’d like to have feedback on how did I compare it to my previous lesson especially as I followed my trainer’s
suggestion and picked only the activity she suggested would do the best.

Based on this self-evaluation, in my next lesson I will focus on (4n):

(Narrow this down to 1 to 3 specific points that you can focus on as personal aims in your next lesson.)

Be able to focus / follow the framework/ keep my lesson interesting and meaningful
