Assignment

As proposed by the contents in your referral material, section 1.1, reflection helps us learn about
how we learn and how we can change as a result of our learning. It can help our critical thinking
skills as we can more efficiently make connections between what we learn in school and what
we see in the world and in our everyday lives.

Reflection also helps us see how we grow and change over time-something that can be very
rewarding and motivating.

With that in mind write a reflective statement - a memo, letter or essay in which you honestly
assess your writing improvement and achievements over this course. For that you’ll have to
examine all tasks and assignments you have done along the course in order to demonstrate your
progress.

It is important, yet to understand that a reflective statement is not a simple summary of your
completed work; it is a meaningful opportunity to look into writing and thus to gain insights
about your academic development.

academic writing on how to adapt the modality of the text, acquire the proper interactive

other types of writing. In unit 11 and 12 based on improving my test. Before starting this
course, I had a test that proved me if I was able to write and communicate correctly in English.
So, the aim of these units was to correct my mistakes and develop a good academic writing. In
unit 13 was about academic speaking. The assignment asked me to develop a video about TEFL
and write a self-critique. The aim of it was to recognize our mistakes and how to improve it.
Finally, the unit 14 was about a compilation of all the units and contents. The most important of

According to Marais and Meier (2004:221) assert that the “teaching practice” represents
the range of experiences to which student teachers are exposed when they work in
classrooms and schools. Actually, there are many strategies, methods, and courses how help
educators to enhance their abilities and learning in the classroom. The actual assignment for
the teachers are to modify these strategies or methodologies inside the classroom. As the
text specified before teachers could enhance their learning and abilities by interrogating
their own teaching context. It is not fundamentally just to based on a specific strategy and
depend on this strategy expand all the task or activities because each student or group has
different performance. So, we have to modify teacher’s approaches from a diversity of
resources. We are researchers as teachers. Each class has a new experience with our
learners, and help us to comprehend in a better way our function. I would like to make
reference three principal points that will aid us to improve our teaching practice.
• Establishing good relations to improve our function as teachers
• Enhance the content of knowledge
• Enhancing our teaching practice

P.S: It was a pleasure to be your learner.
