Self-Check

The new teacher education curriculum is based on Outcome-Based Education as evidenced by

the constructive alignment of the important documents the curriculum. As a student of
curriculum and a future teacher, would you be able to:

1. know exactly what to need to do to achieve the outcome even at the beginning of your degree
plan?

Answer: Yes, The first step is to determine what we want to be the desired learning outcome of
our class. In other words, what is your goal in your class to provide a good, high-quality
education to each student? A desired outcome is a statement that helps to clarify goals. To
create a useful set of desired outcomes (also known as objectives or outcome statements), you
must describe the specific change(s) you hope to see as a direct result of your program that will
assist you in reaching your goals.

2. identify what you will do in order to achieve the desired outcomes?

Answer: Yes, Content knowledge is commonly viewed as the WHAT to the pedagogies of HOW
students will learn. In other words, content knowledge denotes “KNOWLEDGE.” Meanwhile,
pedagogy is the vehicle through which students demonstrate mastery of the content by
developing the “SKILLS.”

3. measure the desired outcome if it has been achieved?

Answer: Yes, Through the use of assessment to measure what students know and what students
learned from the lesson. In addition, assessment can be extremely useful in identifying each
student's strengths and weaknesses and guiding the next steps in instruction.

4. develop the competencies required for all future teachers?

Answer: Yes, Because it can improve their profession by learning the skills, they need to do
their duty effectively. It also assists them in identifying their strengths and weaknesses, allowing
them to concentrate on improving areas where they require additional training or experience. It
seizes every opportunity to encourage learning, believing that all students can learn. To that end,
the teacher takes advantage of every opportunity to improve his or her own professional practice
in order to provide high-quality instruction.
5. tell if you are improving or not in knowledge, skills, and values while schooling?

Answer: Yes, For almost 17 years of schooling I have a lot of realization that proper education
improves people's understanding of the world around them, making them less susceptible to the
influence of others. Education is necessary for proper information interpretation because it
increases knowledge. An educated person is more aware of their own and others' roles in society,
as well as their rights. As a future educator, those knowledge, and skills that I learned will be my
guide and steppingstone to give a high-quality of education that all students deserve.

SELF-REFLECT
Write an essay on the topic and submit to your teacher.

“The New Teacher Education Curriculum and My Future as a Teacher”

When you hear the new teacher education curriculum what comes to your mind?
Do you think what is the importance of new curriculum? Is it effective for students? The
new curriculum aims to ensure that every student in the later years of school develops
advanced knowledge in selected areas of study, skills in applying that knowledge, and
attributes that will prepare them for life and future careers.

The New Teacher Education Curriculum is more reminiscent of the New Teacher
School, as it has been dubbed. However, as with most aspects of the New Teacher
Education Curriculum, it excludes traditional schoolteachers. Instead, students are asked
to choose the teacher-style instruction (sometimes referred to as SCEP), which includes
the use of words (or adjectives or concepts used for teaching them). This means that only
the teacher who uses words and, in the case of the School, the teacher who talks provides
the word-learning experience of teaching. However, the New Teacher Education
Curriculum is more than just a learning experience. It also allows people to have many
different perspectives on what they understand. A well-managed classroom is conducive
to mental growth and development of the learners’ skills in teaching. Learning becomes
interesting and enjoyable under favorable working conditions and an organized classroom
environment. Teaching is not an easy profession it is a noble profession. I know that
every single teacher faces struggles. As a future educator, we must understand the
significance of this. We should develop our own philosophy because it will help us
handle our future students and how we will teach them. Our own philosophy would serve
as the foundation for our future instruction. I believe that each and every student is
unique. There are fast learners and slow learners. However, they are all capable of
learning. And, as a future teacher, if some of my students are struggling, it will be my
responsibility to assist those students in learning so that they do not fall behind. Since
we`re living in 21st century there have been many changes in our teaching practices now,
we use different ways to teach students we use power point presentation, video clips,
video presentations, music, visuals and may more that will help to us.

As a future teacher, all I want for my students is for them to feel my love and
care. I just want them to know that in my class, you will learn while also having fun. I
want them to feel at ease in my class and make them feel safe to their learning
environment. I will teach them the value of education while also emphasizing the
importance of respect and caring for one another. This is the type of environment I hope
to create in my future classroom. And I would say that the main reason I want to teach in
the future is to help my students achieve their goals and achieve the success that they
have desired. Although there has modernization in technology this will be a great help to
us to teach and make students literate when it comes to technology and modernization by
giving them an effective and efficient education.
