To discourage alcoholism-
A student talks to alcoholic person who is unwell- alcohol is spoiling his
health. It's ruining his family. It is damaging his organs. The student
wants to destroy the alcohol and change alcohol into water. The student

water:
Before demonstration: Take a transparent glass (made of glass or plastic)
take water, add few drops of tincture iodine- this solution looks like
alcohol; Take another glass of water, add sodium thiosulphate crystals,
this looks like normal water.
Demonstration: Keep adding normal looking thiosulphate water to
alcohol looking tincture iodine water. The tincture iodine water gets
discoloured.
