Subject : Physical Science
A. Activities common to all Classes
I) Display:
a. Display of Scientists Photos/Picture/Charts available in School and their inventions.
b. Display of Diagrams that are in text books in the form of Colorful Drawings in Charts/
Rangoli on Floor
c. Display / Demonstration of Models made by students.
d. Display of photos/information about National Level Science Institutions/ Centers such as
National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB),
International Crop Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Indian Institute of
Chemical Technology (IICT) etc.
e. Display of pictures of Noble Prize winners of Indian origin in Physics & Chemistry.
f. Display of important principles, formulae, equations etc.
II) Enhancing Scientific temper / attitude among students:
a. Showing of Science related reasons in natural phenomenon, magic and Tricks that occurs in
society by means of hands on experiences/Expert exhibits/videos.
( Eg: Eclipses, Fire from Drinking water/ blood from lemon/ Lifting a rice bowl with knife
piercing in it)
c. Conduct Seminars/Discussion forums/Poster presentation/Quiz/Elocution/Drama etc.., about
ways to utilize Renewable resources like solar energy for future sustainable development of
human life.
d. Establish Science Corners to invite innovative ideas to overcome challenges to humans like
pollution control, Deforestation / traffic problem.
e. Maintain a school level Science magazine with all science related information, tricks, did you
know activities
III) Enacting Scientists:
The Students shall dress up as famous Scientists and talk about their inventions in detail.
