for Productivity: Mail Merge
Speaker: Marco Paolo Victoriano
In spite of the shortness of the

presentation, it was evident that
he discussed his topic
interestingly and accurately. It
would benefit not only teachers
but most specially the
administration staff and guidance
counselors in which most of the
time providing certificates such as
good moral, parents’ consent, etc.
This mail merging is indeed very
essential since its purpose chiefly
to simplify the communication of
a core message to a large group.
It also saves time and effort
producing mass mailings and
avoiding clerical errors compared
to manual documentation.

September 1, 2021 1:20 3:00 Session 4: Game Based- Learning
Using Microsoft

This session was a collective effort

of well-equipped speakers who
tremendously shared their
knowledge and mastery of the
topic which highlighted the
integration of game elements and
game thinking in activities that
are not games using MINECRAFT
as a platform for educational
purposes. This tool drives
creativity, collaboration and
problem-solving considering that
our learners today grew-up with
digital technology. It also
motivates learners by providing
them immediate feedback. On the
teachers’ part, we can easily track
students’ progress and effort. In
addition, this platform will engage
student to create something that
has purpose and ownership and
also incorporating them into the
learning experience.

and principles, difference
between gamification versus
game-based learning that
encourage learners to perform a
specific behavior by rewarding

Development for Teachers

This last session was quite short

but still worth watching and
allowed us to choose what
application suits us especially for
the beginners.
As discussed APP inventor is a
great tool intended for novice. It
is an open source, web-based
system developed by google. She
explained also the step by step
procedure on how to install the
app and also showed example. As
defined it is the act or process by
which a mobile app is developed
for mobile devices such as smart
phone or tablet computer.
