On the conduct of ICT Training
School Year 2023 - 2024

In today's rapidly evolving educational landscape, the effective


RATIONALE integration of Information and Communication Technology
(ICT) has become paramount to enhance the quality of
instruction, assessment, and administrative tasks within
educational institutions. This 2-day ICT training program has
been meticulously designed to address the specific needs of
teaching and non-teaching personnel, aiming to equip them with
the requisite skills and knowledge to leverage technology for
maximum productivity and impact.
Day 1
ICT Integration in Instruction and Assessment
 Objective: Participants will learn how to effectively integrate ICT tools
into their instructional practices and assessment strategies.
Activities:
1. Introduction to ICT Integration
 Overview of the importance of ICT in education.
 Examples of successful ICT integration in teaching and
assessment.
ACTIVITY DESIGN 2. Hands-on Workshop: Integrating ICT in Lesson Planning
 Participants designed a lesson plan incorporating appropriate ICT
tools.
3. Formative Assessment using Digital Tools
 Participants practiced creating and administering formative
assessments using online tools.

Day 2
Topic: Efficient use of Google Apps for Teaching and Non-teaching Tasks
 Objective: Participants will explore the various features of Google Apps
and learn how to leverage them for both instructional and administrative
purposes.
Activities:
1. Introduction to Google Apps for Education
 Overview of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) and its
applications.
