READING PROGRAM EVALUATION


This proof presents the data gathered from the parents of 170 Grades 1-6 pupils in the virtual reading
comprehension Assessment who culminated their survey results in-school presentations with appropriate
grade/credit. It also provides the analysis and interpretation of data that has been organized according to the
evaluation of the implementation of the adapted reading program Information regarding this evaluation is based
on their responses to 22 items categorized according to reading program management. attainment of objectives
delivery of content, provision of intervention material, program management team, and learning environment, In
each Of these statements, pupils were asked to rate their level of agreement along a four-point Likert scale that
includes Strongly Disagree (1 to 1.49), Disagree (1 5 to 2.49), Agree (2.5 to 3.49), and Strongly Agree (3.5 to 4).
The mean of the collective responses of leamers and the Interpretation of this mean based on the Liken scale
used is provided in the succeeding table.

Table 1 shows the data of the responses of learners to the 22 statements on the tool
relevant to the evaluation on the implementation of the adapted reading program. In general,
the pupils registered an agreement towards 20 among 22 statements. The weighted average
for these statements is computed at 3.01 which implies that the learners collectively agree on
the effectiveness of the implementation of the adapted Reading Program.
