Reflection Paper: Change of Management ( COM)

Why do Change Management happens in one's organizaton?It usually abruptly because of emergency or
change of plan when the company suddenly felt losing profit or bankruptcy.Unexpected circumtances
will be prevented if the strategic planned or they planned it ahead. Just like what happened to the entire
world when Covid -19 hits the most of the business and health of the people. Organization must be
always prepared for the change .

There are four principles that can help us understand the process of the change of management and
how it works.

1. Understand Change- To strongly promote benefits change ,the manangement should identify the
need of change? there are factors that need to be consisdered.

· Why does change needed in the organzation?The employees should be aware


why there is need for the change, so that they will understand would it be
beneficial to them or other factors are being affected.

· What are the key objectives? Would it be beneficial to all?

· What will be th benefits of change?sometimes people wants change but they


are having the hard time to comply.

· How will it affect people positively?In time of pandemic school teachers


experience innovation in terms of the technologies that are needed to execute
the learnings of the students, not all teachers are literate in computers most
especialy the old ones some resigned to their profession because they are
having the hard time to embrance the innovation in terms of the learning
materials that going to use , some teachers embraced the innovation with
grace because teaching is their only bread and butter. Pracrice makes perfect
as what the sayings says about the innovation. sooner or later they will be
used to it and can adopt the new trend in delivering the learnings to learners.

b. Plan Change-effective change of management doesn't just appear by chance.Any


plan you make must be right and useful in the company or organization.

However there are factors that you'll need to consider:

· Sponsorship- how will secure, and undertake the use of encouragement and
sponsorship?It's really hard to change from the start since they are used to the
old system but eventually they will be use to it.it's just the matter of time and
attitude on how the people will follow the new innovation.
· Involvement-The question here is who is in the best position to help you? You
should be wise who are you going to assign.will you need outside expertise?
or you can use the domestic resources.

· Support-change can be more succesful if there is unity from the employees


and the management, mutual respect from each end.

· Impact-What would be the eefect of the change in the organization?There will


be pros and cone and the manangement should always be prepared for the
worst case scenario.What goals do you need to achieve.

c. Implement Change- implementing change must be concrete and concise to the


employees so that the standard procedure must see through the quality of their work.Change
can be mindful of people's feeling while of people's feeling while putting your plan into
operation.

The following steps can help implement change positively:

· make sure everyone involved in the chnages understands what need


to happen

· you know what it means for them

· agrees to the success criteria of your changes.make sure they are


regularly measured and recorded.

· map and identify all the key stakeholders that will be involved in the
change.

· identify all the training needs that must be dicussed in order to


implement the change.

· hire change agents who will help to put new practices into place. and
who can connect as a role models for the fresh approaches.

· change people habits so that the new practices become the norm.

· clarify that everyone are supported throughtout the change process .

d. Communicate Change- is the very important component of change. The change you need to achieve
needs to be clear and appropriate, so that people can understand : what you want them to do and why
they need to do it, you have to set the right mode so that you get the emotional reaction you're
expecting for.Also be sure to practice the best take hold to the mangement.This make sure that you give
the right people and the right message at the right time.be sure you get the help you need for your
project.

· ability to change

· reinforce to sustain the change to the long session.
