A man with a family do not want to go to the workhouse because the man would not be able to

look after his family and not getting a perfect job to work for.

Charles Dicken was the writer who used the setting as a workhouse for his book.
Diseases spread quickly because all men, women and children lived together separately small

rooms and shared beds and this caused them to have illness or even die.

I think the best aspect of the workhouse is that the poor people had to live in houses, it shows

in para 1 line 1-3 " Workhouse were large buildings...…. paupers could live and work." The worst

aspect is that it looked very uncomfortable to live in rooms that started to spread diseases as it

shows in para 3 line 3-11 " People were crammed...….died due to these conditions."
