0030 Construction: The construction shall meet all requirements listed in

15-SAMSS-502 section 6,7 and 8

0040 W a) Conductor Shall be stranded annealed copper in accordance with (A) IEC
60228 Class 2 or (B) ASTM B8 Class B or ASTM B496.

0050 W b) Conductor Shield Shall be extruded semicon, bonded to the insulation, in

accordance with (A) IEC , 60502-2, or (B) AEIC CS8

0060 W c) Insulation Shall be XLPE or EPR in accordance with (A) IEC 60502-2, or
(B) AEIC CS8

0070 W d) Insulation Semicon Shield Shall be extruded semicon in accordance with (A) IEC 60502-2,

0080 W e) Insulation Metallic Shield Shall be copper tape(s), 0.1 mm min. thickness, 10% overlap.

0090 W f) Metal Armor or Sheath If specified, shall be (A) galvanized steel double tape or steel

aluminum or interlocked steel sheath.
