Cut out the Fabric
Draw the patterns directly onto the wrong side of a single layer of fabric. Because there is a right and left
shoe you will need to reverse the sole pattern when tracing. Make sure the right and left pieces are
separated to avoid confusion when attaching the soles. Cut out the exterior, lining, and interfacing. Fuse
the interfacing on the wrong side of the exterior following the manufacturer’s guide.

Backstitch on both ends. Turn the right side out
and press the upper. Repeat this process the other
upper.

Cut out the elastic band according to the given
length. Add a safety pin on the end.

Sew the one end of the elastic band. Pull it out
through the other end of the heel strap opening so
that it creates a frill. Sew the end of the elastic
band. Cut the leftover elastic band.
