There will be 30 questions focusing on the following branches of Medicine and Chemistry: Anatomy, Physiology, Health Sciences, Biochemistry, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Periodic Table of Elements 4. The MediChem Quiz Bee involves three rounds with three types of questions Multiple Choice, Identification and Problem Solving with the following corresponding pointing system: Easy Round (2 points), Average Round (3 points), Difficult Round (5 points) 5. Contestants shall be given a maximum of 10 seconds for the Multiple-Choice questions, 20 seconds for the Identification type and varying time allotment for Problem Solving type questions. Contestants can only write their answers after the quizmaster has said “Go.” Computations and necessary team strategies are permitted after the first reading of question is done. 7. In case of protests, the judges from the Organizing Committee shall decide on the matter. All decisions are final and irrevocable. 9. The subcamp with the highest accumulated score shall be declared as the winner. In case of a tie, a clincher round shall be held. Three questions shall be given in the clincher round. 10.In case of a tie after the clincher round, a Sudden Death question shall be given.
