Alumni Interview w/

Rita Olson
Tell us about yourself
I was the Vice President of the club
during the 2018-2019 school year, and I
graduated in 2019 with a B.Sc. in
microbiology.

What have you been doing since you

graduated?
I work as an Associate Scientist at Just
Evotec Biologics, whose main office is in
South Lake Union. In my free time I like
to hike, bake, and fret over my
houseplants.

How did you end up at Just Evotec

Biologics?
I interned during the summer of 2019
with the company, while also wrapping
up my undergraduate research in Dr.
Gerard Cangelosi’s lab (do not
